I was asked by a good friend to help her find homes for her foster cats. The poor economy has caused more and more animals to lose their homes. Even if you can’t adopt a cat you can help out by a donation.
Purrs And Whiskers Shelter (PAWS), Inc. PAWS is a non-profit 501 (c) 3, all-volunteer organization. We are dedicated to helping cats and kittens through rescue, foster, and adoption activities. We find loving homes for unwanted, abandoned, homeless, or abused cats and kittens. Most of our volunteers work full time in addition to helping PAWS!! Since our inception in 2000, we have found loving, caring homes for over 2000 cats/kittens. We finished out the end of 2008 with 2008 adoptions done (how’s that for ironic). We usually adopt cats every Saturday at a local pet store (locations vary). Call our adoption hotline at 321-752-5120 to find out “where” we will be on Saturday. We have wonderful cats and kittens of all colors, shapes, sizes, and ages. Each of our felines has had all their medical requirements tended to — we work with several veterinarians that ensure this.
